Ships Ladders

Question Does a ships ladder conform to OSHA?

Ladders are not intended to replace applications which require regular stairways but rather to fulfill the needs created by restricted areas. Responsibility for determining the suitability of a particular use and application rests with the purchaser.

In other words ships ladders are not OSHA regulated but acknowledged in close quarters situations.
